
Paul Pruski is a senior Criminology major at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Pruski is from Dallas, Texas, and has been interested in a career in law enforcement since he was in middle school. He enjoys spending time with friends as well as fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Pruski is an active member of University Ministry, supporting a variety of programs. He has worked on the temporalities staff with Marianist LIFE South retreat, ensuring that retreatants had their necessary supplies as well as setting up venues for programmed events. Pruski has also served as rector for the Rattler Awakening retreat where he managed the core staff and directed the retreat.
Pruski recently interned at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County. There, he worked with a multi-disciplinary team that investigated cases involving sexual or physical abuse of minors and children. Pruski transcribed the testimonies of children who had suffered from abuse, assisting the Sheriff’s office in obtaining warrants to arrest suspects. He also helped families that needed support by finding resources to keep them together.
Paul Pruski will graduate in December 2019, and will pursue a career in either law enforcement or ministry in the Catholic Church.
